Little Paper Fashion Show

So awhile ago, actually it was almost an entire month ago haha. I attended a short course called Fashionflex and it was to test the flexibility of paper in clothing. Our task was to making a garmet entirely out of paper and wear it on a catwalk! It was so fun. Met many new people/artists/designers. I think everyone enjoyed the short course!

So here's the dress that I made and I am also the one modelling it here in these photos ^ u ^
Made out of paper, tissue paper, tissue and book pages :D ... And a lot of tape and hot glue gun haha :P

Was nervous at first about the catwalk and wearing this paper outfit in front of so many people, but I took my glasses off and I could not see anyone at all because I'm so blind without my glasses haha. So I didn't feel nervous at all, I smiled a lot walking down the catwalk because I was having so much fun hehe :3

Last photo with everyone before we all parted ways after the Fashionflex course and after the catwalk+photoshoot was over. Would love to do something like this again in the future :-)

Plushie making day ^.^

Ah well today Leanne, Yas, Leon and I planned to buy fabrics together and then go to Leon's house to make plushies together! But things changed slightly.. As Yas told us last minute that she couldn't come and then Leon's mother fell ill and we couldn't go to his house for awhile because she needed to rest!

So Leanne and I met in Romford and bought some coloured felt that we needed for our plushies we wanted to make ^ u ^ and we also went to sainsburys to buy chocolate for Leon's mum since we were guests round her home! We took the bus to Stratford and IT WAS SUCH A LONG BUS JOURNEY OMG. At Stratford, Leanne and I bought Subway for lunch -and it was delicious as subway is always delicious

^^^^^sitting outside Westfields eating and tanning (would love another subway right now).

Huhu after lunch we got the bus to Leon's house finally! And his house is quite small but cute! It's like old and vintage haha. But there was a problem with the bathroom door as it gets jammed from the inside and you'll get stuck in there, and yes Leanne got stuck in there haha; I managed to get the door open after awhile -3- anywho, after hours and hours, these were the plushies that I made! A pudding with cream and a smiling face! L from Death Note and a small paopu fruit :3
And Leanne made a little Kirby! Seeing as it was her first plushie she's ever made, it looked soooooo good!! Makes my plushies look crappy haha ; u ;

^^^^^ all the plushies we made whilst at Leon's house :v
Leon was supposed to make plushies with us! But he was too busy playing games with Sammy, silly boys!

Ah and then we didn't leave Leon's house until 7:30pm and it was chilly and the sun was setting and the train was taking long!! But the sunset was sooooo nice and pretty ^ o ^ I took a few photos of it because it just looked so beautiful and calming :-)

Eraser stamp - first attempt

My first ever attempt of making a rubber stamp! Looking at tutorials online, I thought it seemed pretty easy, however I don't have the tools and I only used a single small craft knife to make it =^=

So yes, once I started making it, it wasn't as simple as it looked. It was actually really hard and took me almost a whole hour to just make this little pusheen cat stamp which is 4x3cm big o____o;

And if I knew it was so hard then I would had done something more simple for my first ever attempt. But I'm pretty happy with how this turned out as my first time doing this - but not happy with the wonky eye and mouth on pusheen, sorry D:

Tattoo design

So I really love geometric shape/patterned tattoos and I really really want one tattoo on me! Had discussions with my mum about it and she said a tattoo would look good on my back, like the shoulder blade! But I originally wanted it on the back on my leg..... But now I'm starting to grow to wanting it on my back as well :D

So it took me awhile but I managed to design this geometric flower design and I would like it tattooed on my back but not too big; I'd say I want it to be about 6/7cm big on my back shoulder blade ^ u ^;

I found a tattoo parlour that I would probably go to in Romford and the minimum cost would be £25 which covers the needles used etc. hopefully it won't be too expensive overall :-)

Also I have to wait 2/3 weeks because I would have to remove my shirt to get this done and if my mum is with me (she obviously will be 100%) then some of my cuts/scars over my body may show. So I'm waiting a few weeks so my wounds can heal up and I'll get the tattoo when they're less noticeable -3-;
